PR people outgive others

I have an inkling that PR people donate more of their time and resources than people in many other professions.

Can’t prove it. But sitting in my seat, I often catch people in this community doing good:

Will Goldman of Arlington, Va., volunteers his time and skills to help a man in his neighborhood launch a Turkish coffee tricycle.

Judy Kalvin of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., collects and delivers household essentials for women and children transitioning out of domestic violence shelters.

Mindy Smith and the Darby Communications team in Asheville, N.C., juggle hurricane relief while helping their clients keep their doors open.

This season, if you haven’t found your cause yet, I’d like to invite you to join me in giving back.

Through my son, I’ve gotten to know a family in Oregon with a big need. They are working to adopt two recently orphaned young relatives from their native Latin American country. After two years of exhausting every resource – working extra shifts, saving diligently and maxing out loans – they’re SO CLOSE. But they still need help to bring the children home.

Here’s where we come in:

I’m matching every donation dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. Together, we can help erase their financial burden and make this adoption happen!

What your gift makes possible:

  • A loving home for two children who’ve endured unimaginable loss.
  • Reuniting them with family who will provide safety, healing and stability.

These donations are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE, unlike GoFundMe.

If you’ve found my newsletter valuable this year, will you pay it forward and click the link below to donate $20 right now? Or more if you can? Every dollar you give is doubled, and together we can help this family reach their goal before the holidays.

Donate here and double your impact

Thank you for being part of this community of generous, talented PR professionals. PR people for the win!
